All Aboard! Destination: Project Management Certification. In the next ten units you will be introduced to the fundamentals of project management and taken through it’s many areas of study. This CD is designed to focus on the topics you need to know to pass the exam.

This course is designed to work in conjunction with several texts that will be necessary to complete the course. These are:

  • Project Management: A Systems Approach to Planning, Scheduling and Controlling, by Harold Kerzner, Seventh Edition.
  • A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, (PMBOK® Guide) – Fourth Edition, Project Management Institute, 2008
  • PMBOK® Guide Q&A by PMI

Throughout the next ten units you will be instructed on what to read in the aforementioned texts, and you will be provided with exercises in conjunction with the readings. Answers will also be provided to the exercise questions. When you come across an icon that looks like: , please click on it to take you yet further into your exercises. Project Management Certification Prep Workshop

 
This ten-day comprehensive program provides hands-on experience in managing complex projects plus prepares participants for the Project Management Professional (PMP)®  certification exam administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

This program is designed to cover, in-depth, the nine Project Management knowledge areas tested in the PMP certification exam. All instructors are practitioners who work on projects daily and are PMPs.

We differ from the competition for we can offer online make-up classes for those missed in the classroom delivery.

This intensive online, instructor-assisted program is based on PMI’s “best practices” found in A Project Management Body of Knowledge(PMBOK® Guide), Fourth Edition, Project Management Institute, 2008. It follows the nine knowledge areas with readings, examples and exercises that are submitted to an instructor via email for review and comments.

Major Course Objectives
